Steroids Is Not The Ideal Choice For Many Health Reasons

The use of steroids has forever changed the world of professional sports, making it a world fueled by drug contacts instead of skill and talent. Steroids could possibly be legalized although there are many risks, people are caught everyday using steroids, people could be harmed from using steroids, and many negative consequences are caused from the use of steroids. Steroids are not the ideal choice for many health reasons. The use of steroids in men can cause a plethora of changes some being mental, or physical. Changing these features and looks in men can cause many social issues with others. They could be unwanted in social groups and not fit in. There are many alterations in men, shrinking of the testicles, baldness, breast development, languid, and infertility. Shrinking of the testicles is caused by using steroids for too long, or taking a higher dose than prescribed. M ale-pattern baldness occurs when the follicle, which is where hair grows out of, becomes smaller which can be caused from steroids. When men take steroids, more estrogen is being produced caused from the overflow of testosterone, breasts can develop. Another risk from males using steroids is infertility, which means that a person cannot have kids (Fitness). Women can have some of the same changes like men.
